The Potteries has been
producing contemporary art since 1986. The three potters,
Janice Cook, Bill Cook, and Jeanne Rundell each have a separate
and distinctive style. Janice creates porcelain dinnerware
in bright colors as well as larger sculptural pieces. Bill
is known for his meticulously crafted southwestern clay
lighting fixtures. He digs white, buff, and red earthenware
clays and throws them on the potter’s wheel. Jeanne
Rundell was once a potter and has become a painter of farm
equipment and other whimsical motifs.
